I would like someone who has that same passion when working.. . Duties. Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with guest needs to optimize turnover. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling standards in compliance with health regulations. Requirements. Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations. Previous experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bussing is advantageous. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality environments.
