Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist with patient intake, preparation, and comfort
  • Maintain accurate and organized clinical records as needed
  • Take dental X-rays (if certified and required by the office)
  • Support the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Adapt to different dental office environments and workflows
  • Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and strong communication at all times
Requirements
  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques such as four-handed dentistry, and chairside assisting.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation.
  • Ability to take dental X-rays (if applicable and certified)
  • Knowledge of sterilization and infection control procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to adapt to different dental office environments
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
