Made Possible.   Operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move bulk materials, containers, crates, palletized goods, cartons, and bales within warehouses, factories, construction sites, or shipping terminals  Loading and unloading goods from trucks, containers, and storage areas, ensuring items are correctly placed and secured for transport  Stock management and inventory control, including locating, moving, and stacking stock, maintaining activity logs, and assisting with stocktaking  Preparing and securing loads for transport, including wrapping, labeling, and checking purchase or work orders to ensure accuracy Performing preventive maintenance on forklifts and related equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency  Adhering to safety regulations and company procedures to minimize workplace hazards and prevent damage to merchandise  Required Skills and Qualifications Employers typically require forklift drivers to possess: Valid forklift license or certification   Strong attention to safety  and ability to follow operational procedures. Physical fitness  for lifting, bending, and moving heavy objects.
