Retail Sales Associate (part-time)

We are seeking a part-time retail sales associate to join our team at our local Bakery Outlet store. Part-time retail sales associate will work an average of 15-20 hours per week, and will work during the week and on the weekends.

Store hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 6pm; Sat 9am - 5pm. Must be able to work during these hours.

The ideal retail sales associate candidate:

• Has Open Availability during store hours
• Possesses a valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift, stand, and bend for extended periods of time
• Has excellent organizational and time management skills
• Must have the ability to lift between 50-75 pounds.

Retail Sales Associate Pay: $14.47 per hour. (You will be paid weekly)

Retail Sales Associate Duties:

• Check in Independent Distributor’s stales
• Scan in product
• Greet customers and provide them with product information
• Assist customers with purchases
• Process transactions using the POS system
• Go to bank and make deposits/get change
• Count down cash drawer
• Pricing with a pricing gun
• Learn to open and close the store independently
• Weekly inventory
• Monthly inventory where you may have to stay over after your shift for an hour or two to do inventory (monthly)
• Restock Shelves as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift, stand, and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to travel to other stores periodically.
