[Remote] PJM Transmission Strategy and Policy Manager (remote)

They are seeking a PJM Transmission Strategy and Policy Manager responsible for managing regulatory operational requirements for transmission across multiple states, including analysis of regulatory requirements and interfacing with commission staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appropriate personnel resources as "subject matter experts" to achieve an optimal outcome on proposed regulatory requirements
• Serve as transmission liaison between AEP corporate/state officials, Transmission employees and commission staff concerning regulatory matters and/or requirements related to distribution operations
• Oversee the development of appropriate tracking and monitoring capabilities for regulatory standard compliance
• Coordinate and respond to data requests and reporting requirements for transmission through AEP state regulatory organizations
• Assess regulatory operational impacts and assist in the development of programs to those requirements
• Provide regulatory advice and counsel in policy and employee incentive program development
• Interface with the Customer Operations group to ensure alignment of both business divisions' operations with regulatory performance requirements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, finance, economics, communications, or related field
• Minimum of thirteen (13) years of experience working in progressively responsible positions
• Strong knowledge in transmission operations, customer operations, and the regulatory environment and filing proceedings internal and external of AEP
• Master's Degree
