This individual contributor role is responsible for owning the project management infrastructure across all major People initiatives — including building and maintaining centralized dashboards, driving cross-functional accountability, and tracking strategic programs such as the Talent Acquisition rebuild and HR systems implementation. The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of People Operations or HR experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with director-level stakeholders.</p><p></p><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><p>The People Operations Project Manager is a high-impact, cross-functional role that serves as the operational backbone of RYZE's People Office. Reporting directly to the VP of People Operations and Strategy, this individual owns the project management infrastructure across all major People initiatives — building centralized dashboards, driving cross-functional accountability, and ensuring that strategic programs are tracking on time and on scope. This is not a coordinator role; it requires a self-directed, systems-thinking professional who can manage complexity, communicate clearly with director-level stakeholders, and translate People strategy into structured, executable plans.</p><p></p><p><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p>The following represents the primary duties of this role:</p><ul><li><p>Build and maintain a centralized People Office project management ecosystem across tools including Notion, Asana, and Google Sheets — creating dashboards, trackers, and status reports that give the VP and senior leadership real-time visibility into all active initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Own cross-functional project accountability for major People Office initiatives — including the Talent Acquisition rebuild and HR systems/technology stack implementation — by tracking milestones, surfacing risks, and ensuring director-level owners remain on schedule without taking over their workstreams.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the VP of People Operations and Strategy's operational right hand: manage OKR tracking for the entire People function, coordinate follow-ups with director-level direct reports, and prepare summaries and briefings that keep leadership informed and aligned.</p></li><li><p>Lead the development of one-pagers, training materials, and reference guides to support Workday adoption and HR systems rollouts, in partnership with the relevant functional owners.</p></li><li><p>Support the Legal team on one-off projects and scheduling coordination, acting as a dependable cross-functional resource for time-sensitive or ad hoc initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Design and maintain reporting cadences and escalation pathways that ensure commitments across People programs are visible, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.</p></li></ul><p><i>Additional duties as assigned by management.</i></p><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p><b>Required:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered</p></li><li><p>3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a closely related function — with a background in at least one of the following areas: HR Generalist, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Rewards/Compensation,</span> HR Operations, or Talent Acquisition</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated project management ability with hands-on experience using Notion, Asana, and/or Google Sheets to build and maintain project trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complex program information and present it clearly to VP-level and director-level stakeholders</p></li></ul><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li><p>Experience supporting a VP or senior People leader in a chief of staff, program management, or senior coordinator capacity</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with Workday or other HRIS platforms; project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) or training in OKR frameworks is a plus</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>CORE COMPETENCIES</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Project Management</b> — ability to simultaneously manage multiple high-visibility workstreams, proactively identify blockers, and drive programs to completion with minimal oversight</p></li><li><p><b>Systems Thinking</b> — designs scalable tracking infrastructure and reporting tools that create clarity and accountability across a complex, multi-functional team</p></li><li><p><b>Executive Communication</b> — synthesizes program status and risk clearly for VP and director-level audiences; comfortable navigating stakeholders at all levels of the organization</p></li><li><p><b>Adaptability & Initiative</b> — thrives in fast-moving environments, takes ownership without being directed, and adjusts quickly when priorities shift</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>What We Offer:</u></b></p><p>RYZE offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including:</p><ul><li><p>Competitive base salary commensurate with experience</p></li><li><p>Health, dental, and vision insurance</p></li><li><p>401(k) with company match</p></li><li><p>Paid time off and company holidays</p></li><li><p>Professional development and learning stipend</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>WORK ENVIRONMENT</b></p><p>This is a fully remote, individual contributor position.
