As a Part-time Payroll Tax Admin, you will be an integral part of our team, providing administrative support to our departmental tax teams. This position will handle various administrative duties such as printing tax documents, printing checks, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting the team with general office tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Open and sort incoming mail
Scan mail to ensure proper distribution to relevant departments
Prepare and ship packages, including selecting appropriate shipping methods, labeling, and tracking
Print and sort tax documents and checks accurately as required for daily business operations
Scan and digitize printed documents for proper record-keeping and maintain storage in appropriate file systems
Audit scanned tax filings and payments
Maintain inventory organization and order office supplies
Prepare status reports for work performed
Data entry as needed
Other projects and responsibilities as needed
Requirements
Able to work 20 hrs a week
Commit to daily in office work
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
Proven experience in an administrative or office setting
Basic knowledge of office equipment, including printers, scanners, and mail-handling systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
Proficiency in Google Suite and Salesforce
Commitment to punctuality and reliability, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule
