Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and client-focused Licensed Mortgage Agents & Advisor to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in navigating mortgage options, providing expert advice, and guiding them through the loan process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial products, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele. The Mortgage Advisor will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their homeownership goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Assess clients’ financial situations and determine suitable mortgage options
Provide clear explanations of loan products, interest rates, and repayment terms
Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Understand lender terms and set guidelines to secure favorable conditions for clients
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending policies, and regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business
Utilize Filogix, Finmo and other tools used by the Mortgage Brokerage to manage client data, track applications, and generate reports
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
Assist clients with strategies related to mortgage payments and financial planning
Qualifications
Proficiency in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience in customer service or financial services preferred
Knowledge of mortgage products, banking procedures, and industry regulations is advantageous
Excellent math skills for financial calculations and analysis
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when needed
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse client needs
