<p>Are you a mining geologist looking to gain AI experience and work on technology solutions that revolutionize stockpile management, material tracking and reconciliation?</p>
<p>IntelliSense.io is seeking a talented and motivated Production Geologist to act as a technical expert and fill the role of <strong>Mining Solutions Geologist.</strong></p>
<p>We are pioneers in integrating fundamental physics with objective AI for a novel approach to material tracking and mineral processing. We deliver <em>high-value decision recommendations</em> for the mining industry. Our technology delivers recommendations to humans as their role-specific <em>co-pilots</em> augment human intelligence or direct to the execution systems (machines) making operations <em>autonomous</em>. </p>
<p>With a global, remote-first workforce and regional hubs in the UK, Australia, Chile, and Ireland, we are now expanding our presence in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia — a global leader in mining development under Vision 2030.</p>
<h2>Your Responsibilities</h2>
<ul><li><p>Implement material tracking and reconciliation solutions at mine sites across the globe, ensuring the highest quality and on time delivery. </p></li><li><p>Map and assess complex material flows and data inputs to identify integrity gaps or error sources.</p></li><li><p>Act as the bridge between site-based geology teams and IntelliSense.io’s engineering/product teams, ensuring our AI solutions reflect operational realities.</p></li><li><p>Deliver training and technical support to site teams, driving adoption and measurable value.</p></li><li><p>Ensure accuracy of modeled inventories and investigate any discrepancies through root cause analysis and the QAQC of spatial, temporal and event data.</p></li><li><p>Assess data quality of mine source systems and quantify impacts to modeling outputs</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with mine planning, processing, and technical services teams to ensure alignment between geology, planning, and production outcomes.</p></li><li><p>Work with fleet management and operational data systems to ensure data quality supports reconciliation and reporting accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Travel to mine sites on an as needed basis to support implementation and site success</p></li><li><p>Draw on your experience to guide customers in best practices for reconciliation & advanced integrated material tracking</p></li><li><p>Assess expansion opportunities across the value chain for existing customers</p></li></ul>
<h2>What You Bring</h2>
<ul><li><p>A degree in Geology or Earth Sciences (essential).</p></li><li>3–5+ years of mine production geology experience, particularly in:<ul><li><p>Ore control</p></li><li><p>Stockpile management</p></li><li><p>Mine-to-mill reconciliation</p></li></ul></li><li>Strong understanding of:<ul><li><p>Reconciliation factors and their calculation</p></li><li><p>Dilution and ore loss analysis</p></li><li><p>Resource modelling processes (experience not required, but understanding essential)</p></li><li><p>Mine planning processes (planning experience not required)</p></li><li><p>Fleet management systems and their impact on material tracking and stockpiles</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis on reconciliation or performance variances.</p></li><li><p>Experience assessing QA/QC systems, sampling protocols, and assay lab performance.</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret and communicate complex material movement and data workflows.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical mindset with high attention to data integrity and governance.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences across technical disciplines, industries, and countries.</p></li><li><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;">Openness to travel to the United Kingdom for onboarding and training.</span></li><li><p>Have lead or supported ore control and production geology initiatives</p></li><li><p>Have analysed and optimised <strong>mine-to-mill reconciliation</strong>, identifying variances and driving continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Have conducted root cause analysis on reconciliation gaps, stockpile performance discrepancies, dilution, and ore loss.</p></li></ul>
