This position is ideal for someone looking to build experience in both bookkeeping and customer service within a mission-driven organization.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br> • Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions using our bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar).<br> • Process accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, and track payments.<br> • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of financial activity.<br> • Assist with preparing financial reports for management and compiling supporting documentation as needed.<br> • Help monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts or transaction data.<br> • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat in a courteous and helpful manner.<br> • Assist with routine administrative and clerical duties, including data entry and filing.<br> • Support customer billing questions, account updates, and resolve basic issues or escalate as required.<br> • Contribute to process improvements and support other team needs as assigned.<br><br>Qualifications<br> • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or business a plus.<br> • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and general office procedures.<br> • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.<br> • Excellent communication and customer service skills.<br> • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and comfortable learning new software.<br> • Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.<br> • Previous experience in bookkeeping, retail, or customer service is a plus but not required.<br><br>Benefits<br> • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance and customer support.<br> • Flexible hours and supportive team environment.<br> • Room for growth as you develop your skills.</div> </div>
