<p>We are focused on rapid delivery of high-performance, leading-edge facilities to support hyperscale, HPC, and AI customers across North America and Europe. We’re seeking a hands-on <strong>Data Center Facilities Engineer</strong> to support mission-critical building systems and help maintain 100% uptime in a high-availability environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Those with prior Navy experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Please read over the following duties to ensure your background/experience lines up with what we are seeking.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Task will include but not be limited to</strong>:</p><ul><li>Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers, and subsystems.</li><li>Monitor operations, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; pumps, valves, piping, filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment. Must record readings and make and adjust where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.</li><li>Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action as required.</li><li>Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.</li><li>Maintains a clean and safe workplace.</li><li>Understanding and complying with emergency escalation procedures.</li><li>Learn and understand the data center site in order to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.</li><li>Manage work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.</li><li>Perform additional job duties as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li>2+ years of hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility is preferred.</li><li>Must be familiar with systems, emergency generators, and switchgear.</li><li>High School diploma or GED equivalent.</li><li>Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.</li><li>Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Requirements</strong>:</p><ul><li>BMS/BAS and SKADA.</li><li>Trained in NFPA70E.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical work abilities and requirements</strong>:</p><p>This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:</p><ul><li>Walking in large, campus-like settings.</li><li>Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.</li><li>Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment.</li><li>Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights.</li><li>Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit.</li><li>Must be able to work rotational shifts (day/overnight) plus weekends.</li><li>Must be able to respond to site emergencies when on call.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p><ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>🎖 Ideal Backgrounds:</strong></p><ul><li>Navy Nukes</li><li>Navy Electrician’s Mates</li><li>Navy Machinist’s Mates</li><li>Navy IC / ET with facilities exposure</li><li>Transitioning veterans with critical infrastructure experience</li></ul>
