Custodian/Housekeeping

The St. Cloud Police Department is accepting applications for a part-time Building Custodian/Housekeeping position. This position offers flexible hours Sunday through Saturday, approximately 20- 30 hours a week with a maximum of 1,560 hours in a calendar year.

Job duties include:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms using established practices and procedures
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers
• Refill restroom dispensers
• Assist with meeting rooms set-up
• Clean hard-surface floors and extract carpets with designated machines
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows
• Clean blinds
• Launder cleaning rags and dust mops, etc.
• Wash walls and equipment

Qualifications: Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation and have a clear criminal and driving record. Must have good reading and comprehension skills and be able to follow directions and procedures. Must be able to work independently and have attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.87 per hour
