Construction Worker

Theory Construction is a local construction company based in Tacoma and owned by Theory Real Estate. We are working to transform properties, revitalize neighborhoods, and create beautiful spaces where people can live, work, and play. We’re looking to grow our construction team with hard workers at all experience levels within our property maintenance, home-flipping, and client project teams.

We are looking for the following skillsets:

● Framing, Drywall, and Painting

● Installing trim, doors, windows, & cabinets

● Tile work & flooring

● Siding, roofs, & gutters

● Basic construction knowledge in electrical/plumbing

● Other general construction

REQUIREMENTS

● Minimum of 2 years experience in finished carpentry

● Strong work ethic & GRIT

● Positive “can-do” attitude

● Coachable & works well with others

● Reliable

● Detail-oriented and efficient with all tasks

● Able to work on your own and stay focused on tasks

● Honest & trustworthy

● Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

● Must be able to crawl in attics and underneath houses

● Must have valid Washington state drivers license and reliable vehicle to transport tools/materials

● General tools to complete jobs

○ Drill/driver

○ Skill saw, sawsall, multitool

○ Chop Saw

○ Pin nailers

○ Hand tools

● Ability to read a tape measure

● Spanish speaking abilities are a BIG plus, but not 100% necessary

COMPENSATION

● $25-28/hour (paid biweekly)

● 0.05 hours of PTO per 1 hour worked (1 hour of PTO for every 20 hours worked)

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
