Do you love working in a high-energy environment? In this location, we have passion for the safety of our Guests while creating a flawless experience throughout their stay! We are responsible for crafting an optimal experience by engaging Guests, prepping for races including set up and tear down of event stations, distributing race material, delivering narrations of varying lengths in front of large groups, and providing audience control in various weather conditions. We help Guests enjoy their time with us by keeping them safe during races!

Candidates interested in this role will need to be available for training dates, as well as have full weekend availability for race/event weekends including:

  • Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend (Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Princess Half Marathon Weekend (Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Spring Event Weekend (Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
  • Other ESPN events as needed (TBD)


Responsibilities :
  • Prolonged standing and walking to various areas of the race route to perform and maintain crowd control during peak operational hours in outdoor settings during different weather conditions
  • Adaptability to the fluctuating needs of the operation
  • Proactively engage with Guest needs by answering questions, giving directions, and providing other information about the theme park or surrounding areas
  • We take ownership during emergency situations while under pressure


Basic Qualifications :
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
  • Driver's license required
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
  • We use observational skills to proactively identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
  • This seasonal role requires full availability for all race events, as well as training
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required
  • Cast members can be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Previous experience speaking in front of large groups or audiences


Additional Information :
SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
